Campanya per a l'us de la toponimia oficial al google earth
A continuacio l'email que estem enviant. Redistribuiu-l'ho al maxim de persones si us plau.
Hola a tots,
No se si esteu familiaritzat amb el programa Google Earth que
proporciona informacio cartografica de tot el mon. Podeu consultar-ho
a earth.google.com.
En tot cas hem detectat que la toponimia usada a Catalunya no es
correcta. Correspon a la toponimia usada durant el regim franquista.
Aixi per exemple es pot trobar: Vich per Vic. Villafranca del panades
per Vilafranca del Penedes, Villanueva y Geltru, etc...
Tenint en compte l'amplia utilitzacio a tot el mon d'aquest programa
creiem que seria pertinent demanar-los que rectifiquin. Estem
convencuts que tot plegat es producte de la ingnorancia de la casa
mare americana i que amb una campanya d'emails es podria aconseguir
facilment una rectificacio. Per tant us demanem que destineu uns
minuts del vostre temps per a les accions seguents:
1. Aneu a l'enllac:

2. Al camp "Please select de Bug you are having": Seleccioneu: "This
Data is Old"
3. Al camp message copieu el seguent text:
Dear Madam/Sir,
I am writing you concerning the names that appear in Google maps for
Catalonia (north-east of Spain). The names used in Google Earth are
not the official names of the places. These names were the official
names used during Franco's dictatorship, in an intend to erase the
Catalan culture. I strongly believe that Google Earth has done this
error due to the use of old data, and I hope that you will arrange
this as soon as possible.
Please refer to "Institut Cartografic de Catalunya"
(http://www.icc.cat/) to get information about the official
nomenclature.
Thank you very much in advance for updating the information as soon as possible.
